CONSIDERAÇÕES SOBRE A NOÇÃO DE AUTOR

Resumo

Este artigo procura oferecer um mapeamento para uma possível história do conceito de autor. Com o apoio dos pensadores Seán Burke e Hans Ulrich Gumbrecht, procuramos pontuar os possíveis fatores socioculturais e históricos que permitiram seu surgimento na era moderna, a sua crítica e dissolução no século XX, e sua retomada no contexto contemporâneo. Para além dessas questões, o presente trabalho também procura oferecer uma reflexão sobre as questões éticas e políticas envolvidas na afirmativa da “morte do autor”, de modo a permitir inferências sobre a necessidade hoje sentida de uma retomada na noção de autor a partir de outros questionamentos éticos, representacionais e políticos.

REFLECTIONS ON THE NOTION OF THE AUTHOR

This paper intends to offer a map for a possible history to author concept. Based on thinkers as Seán Burke and Hans Ulrich Gumbrecht, this work points out to historical and sociocultural circumstances which have made possible by the emergence of the concept of author at the Modern Age, its critic and its dissolution in the 20th Century and its contemporary return. Besides, the present work tries to offer a reflection on ethical and political issues associated to the statement about "the death of the author, so as to allow interference on the contemporary need to rehtink the author notion departing from other ethical, political and representational questions.
