O TEXTO EM SUA CORPORALIDADE: CONFLUÊNCIAS DO VERBAL COM O IMAGÉTICO EM RETRATOS DE CAROLINA DE LYGIA BOJUNGA

Resumo

Tomando como corpus a obra Retratos de Carolina de Lygia Bojunga, examinamos sua performance gráfica, recurso experimental por meio do qual o texto, literalmente, se mostra ao leitor. Em virtude disso, analisamos confluências do verbal com o imagético, no intuito de evidenciar que a referida obra não se restringe à função de narrar no sentido convencional, uma vez que mostra e encena os sentidos pretendidos, mediante o investimento na dimensão corporal da escrita.

THE TEXT IN ITS CORPOREALITY: CONFLUENCES BETWEEN VERBAL AND IMAGE IN LYGIA BOJUNGA’S RETRATOS DE CAROLINA [PORTRAITS OF CAROLINE]

Taking as corpus the work Retratos de Carolina [Portraits of Caroline] by Ly-gia Bojunga, the graphic performance as experimental resource by means of which the text literally shows itself to reader is analyzed. Thus, confluences between verbal and image are examined in order to show that work does not narrate in conventional sense, because it shows and dramatizes the intentioned meanings by means of the investment in corporal dimension of writing.
