Nesse artigo, aborda-se a marginalidade e a exclusão social problematizada no conto “Lixo e purpurina”, de Ovelhas negras, de Caio Fernando Abreu, procurando apontar as estratégias estéticas arroladas no texto para problematizar o não-lugar do protagonista da narrativa, um personagem que não se realiza plenamente como sujeito no seu país nem no estrangeiro.

MARGINALITY AND SOCIAL EXCLUSION: A READING OF SHORT STORY "LIXO E PURPURINA"

In this paper, we address the marginality and social exclusion problematic in the short story "Lixo e purpurina," of Ovelhas negras, of Caio Fernando Abreu, trying to point out the aesthetic strategies enrolled in the text to discuss the non-place of the protagonist of the narrative, a character not fully realized as a subject in your country or abroad.
